How to reach us

Send an email to hello@fontcp.com. We read every message.

Because FontCP is a small free project, we cannot always reply quickly, but we do read everything that arrives.

What to include

If you are reporting a bug, tell us the page you were on, the browser and device you were using, and what you expected to happen.

If you are reporting a copy-paste issue, name the platform where the text did not render correctly, and say whether it came out as boxes, as plain letters, or as something else.

If you are reporting misuse of the site, include a link or a screenshot so we can look at the specific page.

A screenshot helps in every case. It is usually faster than describing what you saw.

What we can help with

We can help with bug reports about the font copy and paste tools, feedback about the style list, partnership and sponsorship questions, and reports of misuse of the site.

If a specific style does not render correctly on a specific platform, tell us which style and which platform and we will look into it. Sometimes the answer is that the platform strips the characters and there is nothing to fix on our side — but we would rather confirm that than leave you guessing.

We also welcome corrections. If a style note on the site describes how a platform behaves and you have seen it behave differently, that is useful to us. Platform rendering changes, and notes go stale.

What we cannot help with

We cannot provide font files. Every style on FontCP is a set of Unicode characters, not a .ttf or .otf you can install. If you need an actual font to install, you want a type foundry, not this site.

We cannot help with problems inside other apps. If your Instagram bio will not save, or a game rejects a nickname, that is a limit of that app, and only its support team can change it. We can tell you which character sets tend to survive where — but we cannot make a platform accept what it refuses.

We cannot recover anything you copied. The conversion runs in your browser and is never stored, so there is no history for us to look up.

Response time

We aim to answer bug reports and misuse reports within a few days. Partnership and sponsorship enquiries sometimes take longer, because they need a proper reply rather than a quick one.

We do not run a support desk, and we do not reply to messages that are obviously automated or promotional. Everything else gets read.

Report misuse

If someone is using FontCP to impersonate a person or a brand, or to build a deceptive profile or listing, send us the link or a screenshot and we will review that page.

Include where you saw it (the platform and the profile, post or page) and, if possible, what makes it deceptive. Reports with a specific link are the ones we can act on.

Who runs this site

FontCP is a small independent project. It is built and maintained by one person, and it is free to use — there is no team, no company behind it, and no account to sign up for.

That is also why the email replies are not instant. Messages arrive in a real inbox and get answered by the person who wrote the site.
